Cirque Colors - Concord

A Cirque márkánál valaki tutira olvas a gondolataimban. Drumandbass és Depeche Mode rajongásom miatt minden olyan lakkra vevő vagyok, aminek bármilyen köze lehet a partykultúrához, vagy kedvenc zenekaromhoz. Így került a birtokomba a Dance Legend Optical Illusionja és Antheme, majd a Cirque márkától először a Panacea, majd a Nympho és Concord nevű lakkok. És mai hír,hogy hamarosan piacra dobnak egy Some Great Reward nevű csodát is.

A Concord egy lila lineáris holo lakk, alapszínében a fent említett Anthemhez nagyon hasonló, azonban ebben nem holo pelyhek, hanem kék pelyhek vannak.

Az állaga meglehetősen híg, fedése két vékony rétegben nem tökéletes, de a képeken direkt ennyi rétegben kentem csak fel, hiszen a legtöbb lakkozós lánynak nem igazán van ideje három réteget megvárni.

A fotókon alaplakk és fedőlakk nélkül láthatjátok, 15 perc alatt sérülésmentesre száradt a két réteg.

Később a #31DC2015 kihívás maitt még csavartam rajta egyet, és az Anthemmel, valamint a Morgan Taylor márk No Way, Rosé nevű lakkjával tettem rá egy réteg water marble díszítést, valamint fedőlakkot.

Tartóssága kiváló ennek a lakknak, 4 napig volt rajtam ez a lakk, minimális körömvégi kopással.

There's someone reading my thoughts at Cirque Colors. As a huge Depeche mode fan and fan of the genre drum and bass, I'm keen to purchase every lacquer that has anything to do with the above mentioned music. That's why I decided to buy myself a bottle of Dance Legend Anthem and Optical Illusion, and then I learned about Cirque having shades like Panacea, Nympho and Concord. And the news of the day: they are releasing a shade called Some Great Reward!

As for the current shade, Condord is a linear holographic polish, its base color is very similar to Dance Legend's Anthem, but instead of holo flakes, there are tiny blue flecks in it.

The coverage is not the best, two thin coats are not enough for full opacity, but I used only two coats on purpose: most girls just don't have enough time to wait for 3 coats to dry. One the pictures I wore this shade without any base and top coat for 4 days in a row, and there was only minimal tip wear at the end.

I added some water marble on top of the base lacquer so participate in the 31DC2015 challenge. For the design, I layered DL Anthem and Morgan Taylor's No Way, Rosé over Concord.

Nyári CBL színátmenetes manikűr

Megint egy twinkled t vinyllal alkotott manikűrt mutatnék be, nagyon jó minőségűek az új "matricák", és ezeken a nyári estéken valahogy nem jön össze nekem a nyomdázás, ezért ilyenekkel alkotok.

Előkaptam 4 lakkot a colors by llarowe kollekciómból, és azokkal bűvészkedtem: Blonde Ambition-Vivian+Edward+What's Your Dream? és a tetejére Black Gold Texas Tea

Az átmentetet szivacsos technikával csináltam, 2 réteg az egész, a fekete holo pedig egy réteg (igen,ennyire jól fed) Az egészre HK Girl fedőlakk ment, és íme! Remélem tetszik.

I'm here again with another twinkled t vinyl manicure. I don't know about you, but lately, I have difficulties with stamping, probably due to the heat, so when I'm in the mood for some nail art, I use my vinyls and stencils, because they are easy to use, and their quality is great.

I picked 4 shades from my colors by llarowe collection: Blonde Ambition-Vivian+Edward+What's Your Dream? and  Black Gold Texas Tea

The gradient is made with the sponge technique, two easy coats and I only needed one thin coat of the black holo. Yes, it's really that opaque.
I used HK girl top coat again, because of the holo, and that's it!

Cirque Colors - Panacea

Nem tudom mennyire jön le a blogbejegyzéseimből/instagramról/twitterről (leginkább semennyire), de imádom a drumandbass zenét, és amikor megláttam, hogy van egy Panacea nevű lakk a Cirque kínálatában, azonnal meg kellett vennem, amikor volt egy csoportos rendelés.

Brutálisan élénk zöldessárga/sárgászöld?) színű lineáris holo lakk, abszolút nyári szín, egyáltalán nem irodakompatibilis, de kit érdekel? Nekem kellett.
Persze azért én semettem meszet, valami nail arttal tompítottam a két rétegben felkent lakk hatását, így esett a választásom egy jó kis aztec manikűrre, amit a frissen vásárolt twinkled t vinylokkal, és az Il était un vernis (vajon jól írtam?) Dahlia nevű lakkjával hoztam össze. Az egészre ment egy bő réteg HK Girl fedő (mert holo lakkhoz ez a legjobb) és készen is voltam.

I don't know how clear it is to my readers/followers that I'm a huge drumandbass fan (probably not at all), but when I heard there is a nail lacquer called Panacea, I knew I had to get it as soon as possible.
It's a brutally vibrant yellows-green/lime green linear holo, that is very intense, absolutely summery, definitely not office-compatible, and waaaay out of my comfort zone.

Since I am not completely out of my mind (yet), they only way I could imagine wearing it was to do some quick nail art. I picked up a few aztec vinyls from twinkled t and put it over my two thin coats of panacea. The other shade I used was Il était un vernis (hope I got the name right) Dahlia and I finished the mani with a generous amount of HK girl (because that's still the best top coat for holos)

Colors By Llarowe - Smooth Criminal

Most már gondolom, nem kell bemutatni a Colors By Llarowe márkát itthon sem; végre kaphatóak a Naillandben, csodálatos a minőségük, az egyik legjobb márka ha holo lakkokról van szó - de nem csak ebben a finishben aktívak-, és minden kollekciójuk egy határozott tematika alapján áll össze, nem csak véletlenszerűen nevezik el a kollekciót, az egyébként kiválasztott színekhez.

A mai lakk a "Michael Jackson Tribute Collection" újrakiadásának része volt. Ebből a kollekcióból a Thriller már régebb óta megvan nekem, de most lehetőségem volt a Llarowe webshopjából megrendelni.
Eredetileg ezt a nevet viselő lakk sokkal sötétebb, és lilásabb volt, így engem is meglepetésként ért, amikor a csomagolásából kibontva egy eléggé CBL Pretty Woman "A Lot More Help Sucking Up" dupe gyanús lakkot hámoztam ki.
Nos, felkentem, befotóztam, mellékentem a friss PW kollekciós lakkot, és döntsétek el, hogy szerintetek dupe-e. Szerintem... ;)

I guess I don't have to introduce the brand Colors By Llarowe to my readers anymore: it's a wonderful indie brand, has the most amazing holo lacquers - but they also have nail polishes in other finishes - it's finally sold at my local stockist as well (Nailland), and they always have amazing collections with a themed concept, the shades are always strongly related to the name of the collection.

Today, I am showing you a bottle of Smooth Criminal, which was part of the re-release of the Michael Jackson Tribute Collection, and I managed to grab a bottle during the latest sale they had. Now, the original shade under this name was darker and a lot more purple, so imagine my surprise when I opened the bubble wrapping and found a lacquer that strongly resembled to the blue member of the new Pretty Woman Collection, called "A Lot More Help Sucking Up". I applied two coats, took photos, applied the one from the PW collection as well, and I leave it up to you to decide if it's a dupe  :) Colors By Llarowe can be purchased at Llarowe.com and can also be found in their stockist network.

Golden Rose WOW 74

Na ez az a lakk, aminek felkenésekor valóban az csúszott ki elsőként a számon, hogy "wow!"

Adott egy olcsó márka, amit hajlamos vagyok lenézni, mert a Rich Color lakkok noha szépek, és jó az ecsetük, annyira hamar besűrűsödnek nálam, hogy mindig a selejt dobozban landolnak pár használat után. Én meg sírok, hogy mennyi pénzt kidobtam, és milyen szépek a színeik, és megint nem tudom használni őket.

Aztán megjelent a pici és cuki wow sorozat, amivel úgy gondoltam, hogy nem fogok nagyon mellé lőni, hiszen annyira kicsi üveg, hogy csak nem sűrűsödik be kezelhetetlenre.

Ennek örömére megvettem a 73-as és 74-es színeket, előbbit azért, mert remekül lehet vele nyomdázni, utóbbit azért, mert nem volt szívem kiadni annyi pénzt a PP Marine-jára, de színét nagyon kívántam a körmeimen.

És felkenéskor jött a meglepetés, mert az ecset széles, és a lakk egy crelly, ami két vékony rétegben nagyon szépen fed, gyorsan szárad, fedőlakk nélkül is fényes. A fotókon nyilván látszik a crelly finishből adódóan a körömvonalam, de nekem annyira tetszik.

És mivel nem bírtam amgam hétvégén, mert kisütött a napocska, gyorsan felkentem rá egy réteg Dance Legend Top Prismatic holo fedőlakkot is. Hogy tetszik-e, döntsétek el Ti.

A GR WOW 74 elérhető a Naillandnél potom 330 forintért, a holo fedőlakk pedig 2490 forintért.

Dance Legend - Optical Illusion

Miután "kibulizták magukat" a körmeim a hétvégén a kis CG neon glitterekkel, újra visszataláltam szokásos holimádó, sötétebb lakkokat kedvelő énemhez, és gyorsan felkentem Dance Legend gyűjteményem holo darabját, az Optical Illusiont, hogy megmutathassam Nektek is milyen szép, még most, amíg biztosan kapható itthon is.

Adott egy visszafogott, marsala színű lakk, ami nagyobb szemcsefinomságú spectraflairrel van keverve, ami miatt szemkápráztatóan (cc halo hues szintű) ragyogásba tud kezdeni minden alkalommal, amikor nap- halogén, vagy led fény éri.
Két vékony rétegben tökéletesen fed, és annyira gyorsan szárad, hogy fedőlakk sem szükséges hozzá, ezért most a fotóimon Ti is fedőlakk nélkül láthatjátok.

Mivel a Mercy-ről szóló bejegyzésemet az a kritika érte, hogy annyira holo képeket mutattam, hogy a szín sem látszott, igyekeztem inkább árnyékban, illetve felhős időben fotózni, valamint az első képnek, amelyet napfényben fotóztam, direkt visszavettem a szaturációjából.

Remélem tetszik Nektek is, szerintem holo imádóknak szinte kötelező, annyira jól megy mindenhez, és olyan szép benne a szivárvány.

After my nails have partied hard with the neon glitters of china glaze (see my previous post), I went back to my darker, holo lacquer lover self and quickly grabbed my bottle of Dance Legend Optical Illusion, just to show you its true beauty, while it's still available at my local stockist.

It's a gorgeous Marsala shade holo, with fine grade spectraflair, having a magnificent rainbow as soon as it is hit by any direct light.

It dried so fast I didn't even need any quick dry top coat, so on my pictures, you can see two thin coats and nothing else.

Since my post about CBL's mercy have been criticized because of showing too much holo, and not showing the base color, I tried to take photos in indirect light, cloudy weather, and on the first photo that was made in direct sunlight, I lowered the saturation a bit, so you can see what dolor it really is.

Anyway, I hope you'll like both the photos and the lacquer itself.

Colors By Llarowe - Mercy

Nem bírok leállni a Colors By Llarowe márka holo lakkjainak gyűjtésével.
Egyszerűen annyira tökéletesek, egytől egyig, hogy amint megjelenik egy, azonnal a gyűjteményemben kell tudnom.
És a Mercy esetében sem volt ez másként.

Bordós lila, bitangerős lineáris holo hatás, majdnem teljes fedés egy rétegben (persze nem bírom megállni,hogy ne kettőt kenjek fel)
És mondtam már, hogy a márka elérhető a Naillandnél is?


Nem tudom mit mondhatnék erről a lakkról anélkül, hogy ismételném magam (mert valójában mindig ismétlem)


I can't stop collecting all of CBL's holos. They are so perfect, I just know I have to buy each and every one of them as soon as they are released.
With Mercy, it was the same.

Purple-is burgundy, strong linear holo, almost a one coater, what else there is to say?

Colors By Llarowe - Love, Actually

Nem bírok leállni a vörös holo lakkok gyűjtésével. A Colors By Llarowe márka a The Mighty Red Baronnal egy olyan csodálatos, bársony kinézetű holo finisht fejlesztett ki, hogy bármi, ami ebben a finishben megjelenik, azonnal kell nekem.
A Love, Actually egy elvileg limitált, 2015 Valentin napjára kiadott kollekció része, és valami elképesztően döhös, szexis lakk.
Nem túl bordó, de nem is olyan arconvágós vörös. Ez az a lakk, amit leginkább fekete csipkés fehérneműs nőkön, egy pohár vörösbor köré font kézen tudnék elképzelni egy divatmagazinban.
Két réteg szerintem elég belőle, a körmöket kevésbé fogja meg, mint a TMRB, és szerintem komolyan életveszélyes lakk. Hogy miért? Mert ha viseljük, csak a körmeinket akarjuk nézni, semmi mást. Így könnyű belesétálni egy gödörbe, vagy a metró alá :)

I just can't stop buying red holos. The brand Colory By Llarowe invented something special when they created The Mighty Red Baron. Their unique finish is a holo, that looks like liquid velvet on nails. And it has and effect on me where I see something with this finish and I have to buy it ASAP!
This lacquer, called Love,Actually was originally part of 2015's Valentine's Day collection and it's a darker, vampy version of TMRB.
From all the red holos with this finish, this one is the most sensual one. A shade you's imagine being photographed on the nails of a beautiful woman in black underwear, holding a glass of red wine.
I can't help it's just sexy as hell.
And life-threatening. Why? Because when you wear it, all you want to do is look at your own hand, no matter what you walk into.
It didn't stain my nails as badly as TMRB and all I needed was two thin coats. It's perfection and stil available at Llarowe by the time of this post being written.

Smitten Polish - Nose So Bright

Aki már olvas, vagy ismer egy ideje, tudja, hogy AZ IGAZI vörös holo lakkot úgy keresem, mint kereszteslovag a Szent Grált.

Rengeteg lakkot rendeltem már, horribilis pénzekért, aztán csalódottan passzoltam tovább, mert nem volt vörös, és nem volt szivárványos.

Aztán belefutottam a mai delikvensbe, ami újraértelmezi mindazt, amit eddig a vörös holo lakkokról gondoltam.

Alap feltevés, hogy a vörös pigmentek, és a Spectraflair (magnézium-fluorid bevonatú, finom szemcséjű alumínium por) nem tudnak egymással rendesen keveredni, ezért lesz a legtöbb vörös holo lakk vagy visszafogottan holós, vagy TMRB szerűen bársony hatású, szivárvány nélkül, vagy kékes beütésű.

Amikor kézhez vettem a Smitten Polish holo lakkját, egyből csalódottan megállapítottam, hogy ez is csak egy bogyószínű kékes árnyalatú vöröses holo, viszont annak tényleg szép.
Felkentem, néztem,hogy szép, de hasonlít a Colors By Llarowe The Man In The Red Suit-ra. Aztán felkentem egy réteg Seche Vite-et, és egy perccel később döbbenten láttam, hogy vörös, igazi vörös lakk van a körmömön.
Gyorsan felkentem a többi körmömre is, és kezembe kaptam a fényképezőgépet, így egy nagyon maszatos, összekent bőrű manikűrt láthattok, egymás mellett a fedőlakkos, és fedőlakk nélküli verzióban. Hihetetlen.
Amikor "bevörösödik" a lakk, akkor viszont olyan vibráló vörös színű lesz, ami az én kis buta fényképezőgépem szenzorát kiakasztja, és minden szivárvány eltűnik a piros lakkból. Élőben marad a szivárvány, de nagyon mérsékelten.
Kettő rétegben jól fed egyébkén ez a lakk, de a vörös pigment megint befogta a körmömet.

Két napig viseltem, a végére valamiért megint kezdett visszakékesedni, számomra megmagyarázhatatlan módon. Érdekes kis lakk ez. A leginkább élethű színt az első 3, valamint a kétkezes képek közül a másodikon láthattok.

A Hypnotic Polishról vásároltam, sajnos elfogyott már azóta.


Those, who know me, or have been reading my blog for some time now, probably know that my huge quest is looking for the perfect red holo. I'm so obsessed with is as crusades were about the Holy Grail.

I've ordered many lacquers, spent tons of money (probably more on p&p than the lacquers themselves) and always ended up a bit disappointed, because they just weren't red and holo in the same time.

After googling this subject, I learned that magnesium-flouride coated aluminium just doesn't mix well with red pigments, so the end result is either something that is just berry colored (so it remains a blueish shade) or there is no rainbow effect, but a deep, velvet looking finish.

I ordered this lacquer from Hypnotic Polish, and when I received it, I immediately became disappointed, because it was more of a berry shade, not red.

Then I started applying it and after one coat of Seche Vite, the magic begun: it turned into red, but within a few seconds! So I quickly grabbed my camera and risked showing you my messy nails, before cleaning up and adding the top coat.

It became so vibrant, my camera went crazy, and the sensor was unable to capture the shade right and the rainbow in the same time. The most "real" I got are the first 3 photos and the second one showing both my hands.

I have to be honest, the rainbow is not strong in this one, but there is one! Again, the pigment is very tricky, after wearing it for 2 days, I noticed it becoming more blueish again. After removing, I did notice a bit of staining on my nails, but that's just how I am. Red stains my nails.

I am sure I'll be wearing this lacquer a lot, and I'll try it without top coat as well!
